Manatee Science

Learners participate in a 50-minute interactive video lesson about manatees through a guided game show format. This is followed by an open Q&A chat with our ocean expert.

Recommended for grades 3, 4, 5

Objectives: Differentiate mammal traits. List all four extant species of sirenian. Explain the conservation status of manatees. Compare three stewardship actions.
